What happens if something I order isn't in stock?

When an item goes out of stock, the "add to cart" button turns into a "request" button. The order becomes a formal request for that item, and your request goes into a queue where it can be tracked. The stock levels kept on the site are updated in real-time, so once the last item is purchased the stock level is automatically updated and another item can no longer be purchased. That being said, if an item is purchased and is found to be out of stock, a full refund is issued and the buyer may request that item for purchase at a later date. No payment is accepted for items that aren't in stock yet.

Is your ordering process safe?

When checkout is being completed, the shopping cart is sent to Paypal to be processed. Paypal is a very secure payment system that utilizes SSL encryption to protect your valuable financial information. In fact, your financial information isn't even sent to us! Paypal handles the entire transaction before returning you to us, where the confirmation page is displayed and confirmation e-mail is sent out.

Can I track my orders online?

Yes. Once payment is received, a confirmation e-mail is sent to you by Paypal notifying you of your payment, and within 6-24hrs a shipping notification e-mail is sent to you with a tracking number. You can view your tracking information Canada Post's website.

I've dealt with other online retailers and have had some bad experiences. How can I trust your company to provide me with quality service?

We can only go by our track record. We've been selling products online since 2000. Besides showing you our eBay profile we can also assure you of our confidence in Paypal's ability to protect buyers by offering dispute resolution. We stand by our products and our service, and will make every effort possible to resolve any issues that arise with them.

How much is your shipping? What about delivery time?

Shipping costs and delivery times are all dependent on your location, order contents, and delivery method selected. By going through a "mock" checkout process, you can see exactly how much shipping will be for your order and make adjustments as you see fit. Our shipping calculator is fair, so if you order more than one item you WON'T be charged twice as much.

What happens to you if you sell me a knife and I use it unlawfully?

Due to the complex and changing nature of knife laws, it is your responsibility, not Objective Devices', to investigate and comply with international, federal, provincial/state and local laws relating to the purchase, possession, use, transport and resale of knives. Consult applicable laws if you are in doubt. By placing an order, you represent that the product(s) will be used in a lawful manner and you are of legal age. Absolutely no sales to minors. You agree to hold the seller harmless from failure to comply with these terms and conditions of sale.

What happens to you if you sell me a knife and I injure myself or someone else with it?

The buyer takes full responsibility for the safe handling of any item purchased through us. The seller assumes no responsibility for any item purchased on this site.
